Julia Resnick
ACTOR • SINGER
Hi! I'm Julia Resnick and I'm an actor and singer based in New York, NY.
About Me:
I am currently pursuing my BFA in Acting at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When I am not in school, you can find me in New York City.
I have been doing theatre since I was cast in my first show at 6 years old where I played The Mad Hatter in a production of The Magic Treehouse. I was most recently a part of the ensemble in the world premiere of the opera, One-Log Bridge at the New Hazlett Theater. Some of my other recent credits include Loud Stone (Eurydice), Muriel McComber (Ah, Wilderness!), and The Courier (1776). I also performed with the New York Pops annual Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall for four years, through which I have been able to perform alongside incredible performers including Alex Newell, Ashley Park, Danny Burstein, Stark Sands, Lena Hall, and more!
I am currently a founding member of the improv/sketch comedy group at Point Park; Point Blank. You can catch my radio show, The Golden Hour on WPPJ 670 AM, which explores the different ways to define nostalgia through music.
Aside from performing, other activities I enjoy are writing, collecting books (and sometimes reading them), playing video games, painting my nails, and being with my lovely cat; Virginia.
Make sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with my work!
